The marquetry is executed through a refined combination of precious wood species, carefully selected for their chromatic and material qualities. The lighter tones of the skin are achieved using white maple and light walnut, while the warmer, golden nuances of the garments and flesh draw on rosewood and padauk. The deeper and more structural areas of the figure, as well as the hair and shadowed zones, are constructed with dark walnut, mahogany, and ebony, lending visual solidity and expressive intensity.
